Maple Tree Inn FYI…
“March comes in like a Lion and goes out like a Lamb”, was a saying I learned in elementary school. It never made too much sense since I have been in California with such mild weather all year round, especially with drought conditions more years than not. This early March however, brought us lots or rain and cold, which in many ways was delightful. Now as we move into the second half it really feels like spring, fresh crispness in the early mornings with sunny afternoons that are not too hot. This is a perfect time of year to come visit, we hope to see you soon!

What’s new at Maple Tree Inn Sunnyvale… we’ve added a coffee and tea to go station in the lobby for those guests in a hurry to get out the door and not want to wait at our ever popular breakfast buffet. The response has been positive. Another example of our constant guest service improvements.
Only a few blocks from Maple Tree Inn, the Lace Museum is one of two museums devoted solely to lace in the western part of the United States and showcases an extensive collection of lace and lace tools. The museum houses hundreds of tools, lace examples, books and other materials covering the history of lace, provides on-going lace making classes with experienced instructors, is staffed entirely by volunteers and is supported by donations, Friends of the Museum, the Lace Museum Guild and sales from the gift shop. This weekend is their “Semi-Annual Vintage Sale of lace and linens!”. March 18-19, 2016 from 9:30am – 4:00pm.
Did You Know?
Maple Tree Inn has lobby flowers delivered weekly. We started posting them on our Facebook page and the reaction has been amazing. Guests are talking about the photos and are looking forward to seeing the new display, posted most often on Wednesday. We’ve created a Facebook “Lobby Flowers” photo album to show all of them.

Syam has been working with us for the past few months at the front desk, and we most appreciate that he covers the night audit two nights a week! Working and going to school keep him busy, but I think getting his hair to stand up everyday must also be time consuming. Bilingual, speaking French, with a sometime detectable British accent we are happy to have him on board.
We Love Dogs!
Maple Tree Inn is Dog Friendly. Meet Dutchess. She and her owner are exploring Sunnyvale, especially the local dog parks and will be posting detailed information to the Maple Tree Inn Instagram, where she has a growing fan base as well as to the Maple Tree Inn Facebook page.
Maple Tree Inn Review
Maple Tree Inn is “The Best”. A wonderful Maple Tree Inn review posted last week. “I have traveled all over the world. I have never been at a hotel as clean, comfortable, friendly, efficient, reasonably priced, and suitably located. I did and will recommend this hotel to every body I know that goes to this area.”
